Serving members, intending members, and employers
The Member Services Section's primary function is to provide service and help to the Engineers who are registered financial members of the Institution, plus intending members, including employers of Engineers.
The Section is responsible for
Receiving and processing of applications for membership and professional registration.
Issuance of Financial Membership certificates.
Issuance of Registration Certificates for professional registered engineers.
Issuance of Structural Engineers Certificates.
Gazettal of registered and de-registered engineers on the PNG National Gazette.
Helping employers to comply with the Act.
Dealing with approvals to obtain work permits, plus other tasks.

The Section is currently based at the IEPNG Headquarters in Port Moresby. Any information required about a Member can be easily obtained by contacting the Coordinator — Member Services, who will be able to assist.
